The 2019 Union Street GSM is a bright, fruit driven and flavoursome wine which extends to a lengthy finish. Deep purple-black in colour, a nose of dark cherry, dark berries, rose petal, milk chocolate, musk, clove and licorice leap from the glass. This bouquet continues to the bountiful palate, full, rounded and loaded with dark fruits. The wine has complexity thanks to careful maturation in seasoned French oak and the fine tannins adding structure and texture.
The 2019 Union Street GSM is Good Stuff Mate – very enjoyable now or over the next 5 years.
