SYRAH NERO d’AVOLA

The De Fazio Syrah (Shiraz) Nero d’Avola is a special blend of select parcels of these two premium grape varieties producing a complex wine, unique in character and flavour. A must have with food, it was at the table in Italy where Angelo discovered it and fell in love from the first sip.

His winemaking cousin described the sensation of drinking this wonderful blend as just like your first kiss, never forgotten and soul warming. It took three visits and constant pestering before he’d share the secrets to making this wine.

Like all De Fazio wines it’s produced in small quantities, honouring the art of crafting this mystical wine. The secrets, well, you’ll have to ask Angelo, lets just say the vineyard, barrel selection and patience are at its heart.
